Hollywood Guest House

We took this tiny guest house/studio/garage and made a bright and airy workspace/studio. Demolished the wall connecting the garage, built an additional garage/storage onto this structure. Took out original French doors, opened up the exterior wall and installed incredible folding doors from LaCantina, creating an open indoor/outdoor space and a ton of beautiful natural light. Paint from the best paint store in town Portola Paints (#supportlocalbusinesses).

Installed gorgeous herringbone floors (been wanting to do that for a long time!). Installed an entire wall of natural cork from Portugal, creating a beautiful, textured look, with great acoustic value AND it's functional (being an office and all). We built a murphy bed and storage system so my clients' guests still have a private little getaway. This was a small project but big in so many ways, I loved working on it so very much.
